I ordered this notebook to replace a laptop.i having wanted a boy 7 and Windows machine I had one. This machine is very fast and feature rich. Everything I needed, and much more.

For me it's the perfect laptop.Its feature seems to be the perfect combination. Windows 64-bit, dual processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive (this is wow), webcam and microphone, and a LightScribe optical drive, you can feel immediately after burning, and has a remote control. I tried for six months before I bought it. When I saw the features, I knew it was the laptop for me. Thanks Amazon and HP. [...] I do not know if there is a second laptop on the market that can beat its price and features. The only thing I like about it is its warranty coverage, which covers only the United States.

It came at the right time, with no problems at all, ran directly out of the box. I like the big screen, I like Windows 7, no problems installing the software. Wireless Network Setup was very quick and easy. Webcam and microphone can be good with Skype, the video quality good. Good sound. 4 GB of RAM and dual-core processor is enough to make web pages load very quickly. Nice action on the keyboard. Although it came with a 60-day trial, I went ahead and ordered the Office 2007 for Home from MS, has been on sale for $ 89, very quick to download and install does not like the old days! This is my first PC, Toshiba, happy so far - we had two weeks, is getting used day and night. Sometimes my right thumb hit the CTRL ALT or lazy, if I'm not going to be preserved, but not too distracting.
I bought DV6-1354US model with 500GB hard drive and 6 cell battery. I use this laptop for editing photos with Adobe Photoshop CS4, and audio editing with Adobe Audition 2.0.
HP notebooks have a period of five years, running XP and is still strong. Despite Indian outsourced telephone support, I was again able to communicate effectively. I am confident in the future, performance and hardware support from HP.
The transition from XP to Windows 7 is intuitive. The new taskbar is my favorite improvement. Followed by much better graphics and widget interface. Some of my XP software, Windows 7 will disable Aero mode. I believe that Windows has reached with Apple in terms of graphics and workflow.
