HP laptops have never been very high on my list until I came across dv4-2173nr. I checked several sources, and this model has mostly good reviews. Spec wise more than met my minimum requirements. Price wise it was good for what I expected to pay and Amazon included a $ 75 gift card that really did treat sweet.
I received the shipment within 48 hours of placing your order (Amazon is not large). I opened the package and DV4 was truly a feast for the eyes, a sleek looking machine with lots of features and very well packaged. I could not wait to fire up, but alas, no screen. Only 2 "on top of the screen was displayed. I spent an hour on the phone with HP tech support. The poor girl tried really hard, but bless her heart, could not speak English enough to infer that only the first two "werand displayed.
The dv4-2173nr is a wonderful device with large floor and a real competitive price. Unfortunately, I can only accompany a brilliant return the DOA used. Thanks advantage I bought from Amazon. They take an act of recognition of fair and reasonable, then I can accept at atomic an alpha release and front porch. For now, HP has confused the bottom of my list again!
